The remarkable run for both metals continues with major US$ price landmarks broken in the case of silver and about to be broken in the case of gold.

With a turbulent week concluding at over £74/oz (£2380/kg) for silver and £3656/oz (£117.50/gram) for gold, both bull runs continue. Once President Trump alleviated fears of Greenland being taken by force at Davos on Wednesday, the silver price dropped by over £3/oz, only for strong Chinese spending to push it back up by the next morning and conclude the week 5% higher than where it started!
