Silver Hits £26/oz
Precious metals continue to soar amongst the growing uncertainties within the world.
Last Friday afternoon's surge saw the silver spot price jump upwards by over £1/oz from the midday fix of £24.63/oz to end the week nudging £26/oz (£836/kg), with it finally breaking the barrier on Monday morning (October 21st). This is the highest silver price since 2011 and it is now heading towards the all time record price of £29.26/oz (£940.73/kg).
Gold additionally goes from strength to strength, with the price now closing in on £2100/oz which is in excess of £67/gram.
