In a remarkable run on the afternoon of Friday November 29^th silver rose over 5% in price in just a few hours and contrary to expectations, continued to rise the following Monday morning.

The midday fix on Friday was £40.84/oz and with a sharp rise through £41/oz and £42/oz, the price continued to rise on Monday morning to reach another all-time high midday fix of £43.45/oz - a rise of 6.4% between fixes.
